Mercy Center Timeline
Located just 40 kilometers from Nakuru, the third largest city in Kenya, Lare remains an isolated community of 40,000 subsistence farmers lacking the most essential services: electricity, clean water, roads. Limited access to educational opportunities and healthcare perpetuate a cycle of poverty and diseases. Mercy Center Foundation, USA (MCF USA) and its Kenayn partner, Mercy Center Lare (MCL) are working together so that the people of Lare can become a self-reliant community.
